100 000 in domain COM.UA

Hostmaster Ltd announced about the registration of the hundred-thousandth domain name in domain .UA.

Domain COM.UA is one of the first public domains in domain. UA that was delegated in 1995 in the interests of preliminary undefined users community. Therefore it is also a generic domain. By 2002 the number of domain names in COM.UA reached 25 000; in 2006 the 50000th domain name was registered in this domain and on August 22, 2007 the domain crossed the boundary of 80 000. For the last half a year the number of domain names in domain COM.UA increased by 20000 that 25% more than for the first seven years of domain existence.
